1. Pre heat oven to 180°C.
2. Remove the leaves of the cauliflower and place in a pot of boiling water for around 5 minutes (this helps in cooking in the oven).
3. Let cool and rub some olive oil all over the caulifower and season with salt and pepper.
4. Cook in the oven for 45 mins (or until soft and browned).
5. While the cauliflower is roasting heat the dal in a pan.
6. Remove cauliflower from the oven.
7. Cut into quarters, pour dal over the cauliflower.
8. Serve with a squeeze of lemon and Shilu's Chilli paste.
